Sealer manufacturers recommend that concrete driveways and paths be high pressure cleaned and re-sealed regularly to maintain effective protection and avoid whitening and deterioration. If water soaks in when wet, it’s time to re-seal! When concrete resealing is left too long the surface may become opaque or whitened and once this has occurred the application of solvents and new sealer may not correct the damage or restore appearance. Left any longer the sun will irreparably BLEACH the colour from the surface, with the only solution to recolour the whole area.
To counteract and correct this, Sattler Bros Painters offer a wash down and a re-sealing of surfaces that will make you driveways or paths look brand new!
